Injectables such as Cosmetic's can only be performed by a qualified medical professional. Our medical professional and clinician Dr Zac Turner undertakes all our Cosmetics treatments at Sheer Bliss Beauty.

We are very excited to welcome Dr Zac Turner to the Sheer Bliss Beauty team.

You may recognise Dr Zac from his weekly TV show appearances on Today EXTRA.

Dr Zac has a broad medical background. He completed a biomedical sciences and a nursing degree in Queensland, and after several years of practical nursing experience he went onto successfully complete a Bachelor of Medicine and a Bachelor of Surgery degree at the University of Sydney.

Dr Zac has many honours to his mane in the area of cosmetic and anti-aging medicine and is an advanced clinical trainer for Allergan and Galderma and an advanced trainer for the Australian College of Cosmetic Surgeons.

With a broad spectrum of surgical experience across orthopaedics, plastics and reconstructive surgery.

Dr Zac brings a unique skill-set to Sheer Bliss Beauty through his genuine, honest and warm personality, his background in nursing, and his enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary team. He makes sure to give each patient an individualised, holistic consultation.

Q: What do Cosmetic injectables treat?

Cosmetic injectable treatments are used to reduce lines and wrinkles.

As we age, changes occur at different rates to our upper, mid and lower face. In the upper face dynamic lines appear, in the forehead and around the eyes, when we smile or frown. These lines appear because various muscles contract to form different facial expressions. Over time these expressions lines begin to linger a little longer, or become deeper, even when your face is at rest (these are called static lines). Injectables relaxes wrinkle-causing muscles to help refresh your facial appearance.

Q: What are Cosmetic Injectables?

Injectables are a natural, purified protein that relaxes wrinkle-causing muscles, creating a refreshed look. Injectables active ingredient is derived from bacteria in sterile laboratory conditions in much the same way way penicillin is manufactured from mould. As it is a prescription-only medicine, Injectable treatments are only available from qualified medical professionals.

Q: What do Cosmetic Injectable treatments involve?

Injectable treatments are quick and simple, non-surgical procedures. During treatments, a small amount of Injectable is injected into specific facial muscles using a very fine needle. Injectable treatments generally take around ten minutes. Typically, any pain is minimal and brief. No anaesthetic is required, and you can resume normal activities immediately.
